METHOD FOR PRODUCING NON-GEL-LIKE EPOXY RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an epoxy resin composition affording a heat-resistant cured product having a high glass transition temperature and even excellent transparency and to provide a method for producing a one-pack type curable epoxy resin composition not only affording the heat-resistant cured product having the high glass transition temperature but also having excellent preservation stability. SOLUTION: A resin material comprises (A) an epoxy resin, (B) a curing agent for the epoxy resin and (C) at least one kind of a boric acid compound represented by the general formula: B(OR)n(OH)3-n (wherein, n is an integer of 0-3; Rs are each an alkyl group of a CmH2m+1; and m is an integer of 1-10) and its partial polycondensate and the content of the boron is 0.5-10 mass% based on the component (A). The resin material is uniformly dissolved in a solvent. The method for producing a non-gel-like epoxy resin composition comprises heat-treating the resin material and reacting the component B with the component C without making the resultant material gel in a solution state.
