<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device allowing recognition of hierarchical information items at a glance and easy detection of target information. <P>SOLUTION: This display device 1 is provided with a display 2 (display means) simultaneously displaying information 50 and the information items 60 and a display control means 3 controlling display on the display 2. On the display 2 having a screen configuration wherein a plurality of hierarchical menus 81, 82, and 83 hierarchically dividing the information items 60 to display them are arranged around an information screen 7 displaying the information 50, the information items 60 related to the information 50 displayed on the information screen 7 are displayed in the hierarchical menus 81, 82, and 83 by means of the display control means 3. By the display control means 3, arrangement parts of the respective information items 60 in the hierarchical menus 81, 82, and 83 function as screen selecting tab switches 8 on the information screen 7.
