<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a high-purity monolayered boron nitride nanotube. <P>SOLUTION: In a nitrogen atmosphere of 100 Torr, boron nitride as the target is irradiated with a laser beam with a wave length of 1.064μm, a pulse width of 60 ps, a pulse repetition rate of 2×10<SP>5</SP>pulse/sec, and intensity of 2.7×10<SP>11</SP>W/cm<SP>2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
