<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To considerably reduce elution of fluorine from slag by making fluorine-containing steel slag have microstructure from which fluorine is hardly eluded. <P>SOLUTION: The composition of fluorine-containing steel slag is adjusted, by mass, to be in a range expressed by the inequalities of CaO/SiO<SB>2</SB>≤2.0, and 3.0%≤T.Fe≤25.0%. The composition of steel slag can be adjusted by adding fluorine-containing slag discharged in a steel making step, SiO<SB>2</SB>and/or iron oxide-containing oxides to molten steel in a refining vessel so that the slag composition is adjusted to be in the range of the above inequalities. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
