PURPOSE: An apparatus for supplying a sustain pulse of a plasma display panel and its method are provided to reduce fabrication cost by relaying energy with a transformer installed in a panel capacitor in parallel. CONSTITUTION: A capacitive load(Cp) is formed between a scan electrode and a sustain electrode equivalently. A voltage charging unit(30) charges a sustain voltage by supplying the sustain voltage to the capacitive load. A voltage sustain unit(32) is connected to the capacitive load and supplies the sustain voltage so that stable discharge is generated in the capacitive load charged with the sustain voltage. And a voltage relay unit(34) is connected between the voltage charging unit and the capacitive load, and relays the sustain voltage.
