<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system which can easily confirm information on a target object. <P>SOLUTION: A smart entry system 11 is composed of a portable machine 12 and a locking/unlocking controller 13. A vehicle-side microcomputer 32 generates an answerback signal in accordance with a detection signal which is output from various types of sensors 14 mounted on a vehicle 2, and an ID code which is recorded in a vehicle-side memory 34. The microcomputer 22 rewrites vehicle information which is stored in a portable-machine-side memory 24, in accordance with the input answerback signal, and controls the display of a display unit 17 which is provided in a case body of the portable machine 12, in accordance with the vehicle information which is stored in the memory 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
