PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for bringing about obscuration of a stitch error in print, which is recognized by a viewer's eyes. SOLUTION: In this technique for bringing about the obscuration of the stitch error which is recognized by the viewer's eyes, firstly, a plurality of first ink droplets are ejected onto a medium from a print head, which is equipped with at least one ejection port with a plurality of nozzles and which moves in a first direction with respective to the medium, in a first jet sequence, so that a first printed string can be formed. After that, the medium is advanced in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction. The print head is moved in the first direction again, and a plurality of second ink droplets are jetted onto the medium so that a second printed string can be formed adjacently to the first printed string. The spot size, which can be determined from the ink droplets, is modulated on a random basis by using a controller. Though the stitch error can be caused by the misarrangement of the second printed string with respect to the first printed string, or ununiformity in the sizes of the ink droplets, at least the second ink droplets include the diverse sizes of the ink droplets on a random basis.
