<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cogeneration system with variable output efficiently operatable with relatively simple control. <P>SOLUTION: The cogeneration system comprises a fuel cell 6 which generates electric power and heat; a hot water storage device for collecting the exhaust heat of the fuel cell 6 and storing it in the form of hot water; and a control means 70 for controlling the operation of the thermoelectric supply device. The fuel cell 6 varies its output depending on the magnitude of load. The control means 70 computes data on the load expected on the date of operation, computes effective expected load data, in addition to the expected load data, taking into account the minimal output generated power and minimal output generated heat quantity generated during minimal output operation, and computes the expected merits of running for each unit operation time based on the effective expected load data. Based on the expected merits of running, data on the current load on the date of operation, and the previous load data, the control means controls the operation of the fuel cell 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
