Device and method for controlling the validity of at least one parameter calculated by an aircraft anemometer station

The method involves calculating a difference between each information issued from an external information source (Si) and information depending on a parameter e.g. total pressure, calculated by a central anemometer (2) of an aircraft. An absolute value of the difference is compared to a threshold value. The parameter is found to be invalid if the absolute value is greater than the threshold value, or the parameter is valid. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a system to monitor validity of a parameter that is calculated by a central anemometer of an aircraft (b) an aircraft.
