ANTICANCER DRUG, 5-FLUOROURACIL, RELATED MARKER GENES WHICH ARE USEFUL FOR DIAGNOSIS OF ANTICANCER EFFECTS OF 5-FLUOROURACIL IN CHEMOTHERAPY AND DETECTION KIT FOR ANTICANCER EFFECTS USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: Anticancer drug, 5-fluorouracil, related marker genes and a detection kit for anticancer effects using the same are provided, thereby anticipating the cytotoxicity of 5-fluorouracil in the tissue of a patient with improved rapidity and sensitivity, so that they are useful for diagnosis of anticancer effects of 5-fluorouracil in chemotherapy. CONSTITUTION: A method for diagnosis of anticancer effects of 5-fluorouracil comprises the steps of: (1) measuring the amount of one or more genes or their fragments selected from KIAA1141(AN: AB032967), FLJ21931(AN: AK025584), FLJ11021(AN: NM_023012), CSTF3(AN: NM_001326), CDKN1A(AN: NM_000389) and EST601820453F1(AN: BF131634) in the stomach cancer cell line or tissue; (2) measuring the amount of the genes of step (1) or their fragments in the cell line or tissue of cancers other than stomach cancer; and (3) comparing the measuring values of steps (1) and (2) with the values of a 5-fluorouracil tolerant cell line or tissue.
