As described the plate 56 is screwed to the base ring 32 of a router 10 which includes a motor 12 adjustable on a base assembly 14 and driving the tool 16. Side posts 30 on the assembly 14 support gripping knobs 36, and have lugs 52 adapted to receive support rods for a straight gauge accessory. The ribs 70, 76, 81, may be replaced by a plurality of staggered arcuate ribs. The plate may have apertures 82 to facilitate removal of chips. |
