SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OFFERING VEHICLE AD USING SHORT MESSAGE THROUGH TELEMATICS TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A system and a method for offering a vehicle AD(ADvertisement) using a short message through a telematics terminal are provided to output an AD message through a vehicle equipped with the telematics terminal and a display part by offering the AD message of a short message form to a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A database(130) registers AD information and subscription information for vehicle AD terminals(110). An MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(115) draws out region information of the terminal and transmits the short message to the terminal. A location server(120) draws out location information for the terminal by obtaining address information matched with region information received from the MSC. An AD server(125) receives the location information of the terminal from the location server, extracts the AD message assigned to the terminal by matching with the location information, and draws out an AD request message including the extracted AD message. An SMSC(Short Message Service Center)(140) receives the AD request message from the AD server and transmits the short message matched with the AD message included in the AD request message to the MSC.
