PURPOSE: Network load balancing with connection manipulation such as connection migration to tunneling and/or related to application-level load balancing is provided to offer configurations and/or technologies for improving the network load balancing and/or associated options. CONSTITUTION: A device includes a connection migrator(310) formed to migrate connections dropped from the device. The connection migrator promotes compilation of protocol status for the connection of both ends of a protocol stack, is adapted to collect the compiled protocol status having data for connection in a collected connection status, and sends the collected connection status to a target device.
