POWER CONTROL APPARATUS HAVING A FUNCTION OF REDUCING CONSUMED POWER, PARTICULARLY FOR DECREASING POWER CONSUMPTION AT A STANDBY STATE IN A MICROCOMPUTER

PURPOSE: A power control apparatus having a function of reducing consumed power is provided to decrease power consumption in a microcomputer by supplying electric power only to a standby state function part instead of whole parts of the microcomputer at a standby state. CONSTITUTION: A receive part(200) receives a signal from a remote controller. A standby power part(312) supplies electric power necessary for receiving the signal from the remote controller at a standby state. A standby state function part(332) receives the electric power from the standby power part and receives the signal from the remote controller and thereby generates an inversion signal so as to control turn-on and off of a remote control system. The standby power is direct current less than 5V.
