PURPOSE: A record media, a recording/reproducing device thereof, and a recording/reproducing method therefor are provided to enable a recording/reproducing device to easily check a maximum address of a recordable area of user data in each record layer. CONSTITUTION: The record media comprises plural record layers on which data is recordable. Wobbled grooves are formed on the plural record layers as record tracks according to address and physical format data. The physical format data includes a maximum address of a recordable area of user data. The plural record layers include the first record layer and the second record layer. The first record layer includes the first data area, for recording user data, and a lead-in area, formed on an inner circumference of the first data area. The second record layer includes the second data area, for recording user data, and a lead-out area, formed on an inner circumference of the second data area. The maximum address of the recordable area is wobbled in the lead-in area.
