<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the dealing with a communication failure when the communication failure occurs during communication between various devices having a server client type communication function. <P>SOLUTION: When image data are transmitted from a digital camera 2 to a printer 1 by communication with the printer 1 via a radio LAN, failure information to be displayed in case of communication failure is transmitted from the printer 1 to the digital camera 2 at the time of starting the communication. When the communication failure occurs during the communication, the digital camera 2 detects it and displays the failure information transmitted at the time of starting the communication on the liquid crystal monitor of the digital camera 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
