PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing thermoplastic synthetic resin-made band which is flexible, excellent in aptitude for a packing machine, and hardly degraded in strength. SOLUTION: In the packing thermoplastic synthetic resin-made band, a large number of parallel projecting bars are formed on face and back sides of a thermoplastic synthetic resin-made base material in an obliquely intersecting manner. The angle (a) of intersection in the longitudinal direction of the projecting bars is set to be 10-30°. A flexibility increased by stretching is further increased by setting a tip angle of an emboss to be acute without impairing the rigidity by the orientation through the synergistic effect with the physical effect of bringing the rib angle closer to the advancing direction. The flexibility is further increased by increasing the number of the projecting bars with respect to the band width by setting the tip angle of the emboss to be acute. A strength is not degraded by minimizing the disturbance of the orientation by setting the tip angle of the emboss to be acute. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
