摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which can improve a response speed while reducing the occurrence of an EMI by reducing electric power consumption, a driving gear for the display device, and a driving method for the display device. SOLUTION: The display device includes a display panel 100, a scan driving section 200, a timing control section 500, and a data driving section 300. The display panel 100 includes a plurality of scan lines Gq and a plurality of data lines Dp. The scan driving section 200 supplies scan signals sequentially to the plurality of the scan lines Dq. The timing control section 500 encodes the first gradation data of a present frame. The timing control section 500 decodes the encoded second gradation data of the previous frame. The timing control section 500 forms the compensated gradation data by compensating the first gradation data of the present frame through the comparison of the second gradation data of the previous frame and the first gradation data of the present frame.
