IMAGE FORMING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING OUTPUT OF SPAM AD USING PARETO CHART

PURPOSE: An image forming device and a method for preventing output of a spam AD(ADvertisement) using a Pareto chart are provided to save maintenance expense greatly by effectively preventing the output of recklessly transmitted spams and easily select a spam prevention function with simple manipulation. CONSTITUTION: A log file storing part(21) stores a received telephone number and corresponding manuscript. A reception list maker(25) makes an accumulated percentage for the telephone numbers stored in the log file storing part. An output object list registry(27) registers only the telephone numbers over a predetermined frequency from the list made in the reception list maker. A controller(10) outputs the received manuscript to a printing part(12) in case that the telephone number registered to the output object list registry is applied through a facsimile receiver(14), and stores the received manuscript of the telephone number not registered to the output object list registry in the log file storing part. An object list is registered to the output object list registry by applying a 20:80 rule based on the Pareto chart.
