PURPOSE: A mobile terminal capable of transferring operation modes of key input parts is provided to install the first housing having a main display part and the second housing having the first and second key input parts and to convert the operation modes of the key input parts according to the relative locations of the housings and enable a user to use a special function of a multimedia by installing a special function key at one of the key input parts. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal(20) comprises the first housing(30) having a main display part(31) and the second housing(40) having the first and second key input parts(40). The first and second housings(30,40) are connected and installed opposite to each other by a hinge tube(50). The main display part(31) is formed at the center of the first surface of the first housing(30). The first key input part(41) is formed at the first surface of the second housing(40), and the second key input part is formed at the second surface opposite to the first surface. At the first key input part(40), various function keys(43) and plural text/number input keys(45) are installed. At a side of the second input key part, plural dedicated multimedia keys are installed. A plurality of dedicated game keys are installed at the other side of the second key input part.
