PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a stable call environment in which echo and howling are hardly generated by stably canceling a line echo of a communication terminal at hand without being influenced by acoustic echo components of the other call terminal. SOLUTION: This line echo cancellation device 108 of the call terminal has a telephone line device to be connected with a telephone line, etc., a loudspeaker which outputs received voice from a remote end speaker, etc. and a microphone in which voice of a near end speaker, etc. are inputted. The line echo cancellation device has a filter means 204 to eliminate line echo components in which the voice of the near end speaker turns around through the telephone line device, a transmission function estimation means 202 to estimate a transmission function of the line echo components, a coefficient judgment means 205 to judge a coefficient value of the filter means and a coefficient update means 203 to update the coefficient value of the filter means based on an estimation result in the transmission function estimation means and a judgment result in the coefficient judgment means.
