PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an organic EL display panel wherein an adhesive layer formed by screen printing has no uneven printing, and no application failure caused by air bubbles, when bonding a sealing component to a glass substrate. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for the organic EL display panel includes a process to form an organic EL layer containing a luminescent layer on the glass substrate, and a sealing process to seal the organic EL layer. The sealing process comprises a process to form an adhesive layer surrounding the entire periphery of the organic EL layer by applying screen printing in a vacuum, and a process to make the sealing member adhere to the glass substrate through the adhesive layer under an atmospheric pressure. The viscosity of the adhesive to form the adhesive layer at 25°C is 0.5-100 Pa.s, and preferably the adhesive layer is formed by screen printing using stainless steel printing mesh with 150-230 meshes/inch, in this manufacturing method for the organic EL panel.
