PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sudden output reductions of cells in a secondary battery evaluation method and an electric storage device. SOLUTION: Battery anomalies are determined in the case that the difference between a battery voltage at a time when a discharge current of a battery 10 becomes smaller than a current reference value or before and after a time when a current of a load connected to the battery 10 becomes smaller than the current reference value and an approximate expression of the relation between a current and a voltage before and after the same discharge lies outside a reference range.
