PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform suitable braking control when an own vehicle comes into contact with an obstacle. SOLUTION: When the own vehicle comes into contact with the forward object and a distance D becomes 0 or less (a judged result of a step S13 is "Yes"), an anti-skid stop flag FCis set "1" and anti-skid control is stopped so as to secure a braking effect by an automatic brake (step S19).
