OPHTHALMATIC MEDICAL FILM AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THEREOF

The invention relates to medicine, in particular to ophthalmology and mainly to medical preparations of durable action and refers to ophthalmologic medical films (OMF) which may be applied in the treatment of different forms of retinal degeneration. The proposed OMF produced in one layer comprises medical preparations and a biosoluble polymer base. It comprises extracts of saffron stigmas (dry), propolis (thick) and further comprises a preservative – nipagin, wherein the polymer base comprises polyvinyl alcohol and purified water in definite component ratio in gram per 1 litter of purified water. The proposed method of the OMF production comprises dissolution of the medical preparations and the preservative in a solution of biosoluble polymer, pouring a film web onto a matrix, forming the film, packing and sterilizing thereof, the solution of medical preparations and the preservative are applied on a matrix by one layer.
