<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device which can effectively use the transmission path for an unused color image when image formation in other mode than a full color mode is selected. <P>SOLUTION: When setting is made to form an image using a limited color image among a plurality of colors, e.g., black only, CPU6 of a system control unit 4 converts the format of the black image data to an image data with an enhanced image quality. This black image data with the converted format is outputted to a transmission path for black (K) from the image data transmission part 5, and to a transmission path for cyan (C) which is normally not used for transmission of a black image. Therefore, the amount of the image data is increased by enhancing the image quality, however, an image of high quality can be formed without causing transmission delay by using several transmission paths for image data transmission. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
