PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to environmental conservation and a circulatory society, by making a boundary block convenient and easy to use for anybody, in the boundary block used for a boundary part between a sidewalk and a roadway. SOLUTION: This universally compatible boundary block is constituted by manufacturing a recycling aggregate such as a crushed material of a crushed stone, ceramics, waste glass, and a regenerated aggregate having the aggregate particle size of 15 mm or less, or a water retentive aggregate such as lava, zeolite, and biscuit ceramics including bubbles, or an aggregate mixed with these, by porous concrete joined by an inorganic or organic binder. The boundary block is formed, by forming an apron part having the length of 500 mm or less, and a downward slope of 6 % or less toward the sidewalk side from the roadway side, erecting a curb stone part having the height of 10 to 50 mm on the sidewalk end side of the apron part, forming a top shape into a horizontal face and a downward slope surface of 25 % or less toward the roadway side, forming the horizontal face and an inclined face in combination, and arranging a flat or a plurality of grooves and projections on a surface of the curb stone part.
