The invention relates to construction plaster and to the corresponding uses and methods therefor. More specifically, the invention relates to a delayed-setting construction plaster comprising at least 50 wt.- % CaSO4, as well as more than 0.0025 wt.- % hydrolysed erythrocytes in relation to the CaSO4. The hydrolysed erythrocytes can be added in the form of partially-hydrolysed erythrocytes, in which case the degree of hydrolysis thereof must be taken into account. The construction plaster production method comprises a step involving the enzymatic or chemical hydrolysis of the erythrocytes. The invention also relates to the use of said hydrolysed erythrocytes as an additive for construction plaster, which is preferably used to delay the setting thereof.
