Passive filter for telecommunication networks

The passive filter (8) has arrangements for detecting control signalling and for checking a subscriber modem transmission signal when receiving control signalling and an arrangement for selecting differently encoded control signalling for one or more subscribers with switches to different output channels. The output channels have arrangements for adapting the transmission characteristics for each channel.
