PURPOSE: An engine apparatus using water is provided to prevent environment pollution by generating oxygen and hydrogen from water and substituting fossil fuel of the engine with oxygen and hydrogen gas. CONSTITUTION: An engine apparatus is composed of a water tank(1) storing water, a converter(4) receiving water from the water tank, a control valve(3) regulating the amount of water supplied to the converter, and a separator(5) connected to the converter to separate oxygen and hydrogen from water. A connecting pipe to the control valve is formed in the narrow portion of the internal passage of the converter, and water discharged from the connecting pipe is vaporized. A diffuser is formed in the inlet of the converter to form vortex, and composed of a passage change blade. The passage change blades of the diffuser are inclined to the passage of air or steam and arranged outside.
