PURPOSE: A display device and a display control circuit are provided to switch a direction for transmitting display data effectively in the display device where display signals are transmitted between display drive circuits. CONSTITUTION: A display device comprises a display panel(101) having a plurality of pixels to display images according to image display signals, a display drive circuit group(102) having a plurality of display drive circuits for outputting image display signals to the display panel based on inputted display data, and a control circuit(104) for outputting display data to the display drive circuit group. The display data inputted to the display drive circuit group are sequentially transmitted between the display drive circuits. The control circuit outputs display data for a predetermined number of pixels to the display drive circuit group in an inverted sequence. Therefore, the control circuit enables effective output of the image display signals in an inverted sequence.
