CARD CONNECTOR FOR PREVENTING THE INSERTION OF A THIN CARD BY A SIMPLE STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A card connector for preventing the insertion of a thin card by a simple structure is provided to have an implement which prevents that a card which is thinner than a certain thickness is inserted. CONSTITUTION: A guide part(2a) connects to a connector body(10). The guide part guides the movement of a card with respect to the connector body. A selecting unit(3c) connects to the guide part, and has a combination part(33). In case that the card has a certain thickness, the selecting unit is elastically modified by contact with the card to allow the card to be additionally moved. In case that the card is thinner than the certain thickness, the selecting unit has the combination part which is combined with the card to prevent the additional movement of the card.
