SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRE-ALLOCATING MEMORY OF FIRST PROCESS ON MULTI-PROCESSOR SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A system and a method for pre-allocating a memory on a multi-processor system are provided to effectively determine which and when an object is generated from an object generator by using memory use information of heuristics for HotClass monitoring. CONSTITUTION: The system includes an MPU(Micro Processor Unit)(104), a JSM(Java Stack Machine)(102), a memory(106) coupled to the MPU and the JSM, and a control logic pre-allocating/initializing a part of the memory for the JSM. If a pre-allocated memory part is present in the JSM to satisfy a memory allocation request, the control logic allocates the pre-allocated memory part to the memory allocation requests. If the memory allocation request is not satisfied, the control logic allocates/initializes a part of the memory for the MPU.
