COMPUTER BUS ADAPTER RISERS FOR LOW PROFILE CHASSES

A low profile circuit board (22) carrying two separate computer buses (42,44); a first set of spaced, parallel, card edge connectors (34, 36, 38, 40) projecting normally from a first face of the board (22), the first set communicating with one of the buses for coupling the bus to cards plugged into the first set; a second set of spaced, card edge connectors (28, 30, 32), parallel to the first set and projecting normally from the opposite face of the board (22), the second set communicating with the other bus for coupling said other bus to cards plugged into them, the second set (28, 30, 32) being interlacingly disposed with respect to the first set (34, 36, 38, 40); and a low profile connector (24) projecting normally from the board on the side of the second set for connection to a motherboard, the low profile connector communicating the two computer buses from the motherboard to the respective sets.
