<p>The telescopic crane has a jib with a main section with a base framework within which is a retractable and extendable telescopic section. At least one bracing support (2) is installed on the jib and is inclined in relation to the derricking plane (4). The bracing support is connected to a means of tensioning (6,7) extending in the longitudinal direction of the jib, whereby the inclination of the bracing support is selected to so that the side load acting upon the jib is partially or completely absorbed by the bracing.</p>
