The invention relates to a method for promoting wound healing, said method comprising administering to a mammal, including man, in need of such promotion an effective amount of an inhibitor of 11-ß-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 1 (11ß-HSD1), said 11ß-HSD1 inhibitor having the formula (I) wherein T, A, and B are as defined in the specification. These compounds may also be used in the manufacture of a medicament for promoting wound healing.
