PURPOSE: A digital satellite broadcasting receiver is provided to simultaneously tune multi-channel through one main unit with storage media, and receive a specific channel tuned by the main unit and perform a decoding and a display processes through a plurality of sub-units without storage media. CONSTITUTION: An LNB(Low Noise Block)(102) low-noise amplifies satellite broadcasting signals of RF(Radio Frequency) band, which are received by an antenna(101). A multi-switching unit(103) divides the satellite broadcasting signals into a plurality of satellite signals and outputs the signals through respective paths. A main unit(110) with storage media receives the satellite signals, converts the satellite signals into TP(TransPort stream) signals by tuning and demodulating the satellite signals to specific channels respectively, and stores the TP signals in the storage media. Herein the main unit also descrambles the tuned and demodulated TP signals and the read TP signals from the storage media, and outputs them. A plurality of sub-units(121,122,...), located respectively in a plurality of separate spaces, receive the TP signals of corresponding channels and display the TP signals. Herein, each of the sub-units has no satellite tuner, no CAS(Conditional Access System) and no storage media. The main unit and the sub-units communicate through wireless data communication.
