PURPOSE:To perform favorable lubrication so simply in an accurate manner, by racking up lubricating oil with a shifting gear inside a rear cover and, after collecting it in an oil guide, lubricating it to a bearing, in case of a speed change gear to be mounted rearward down on a car. CONSTITUTION:In case of a speed change gear to be mounted rearward down aslant on a car, a large quantity of lubricating oil is raked up with rotation of a fifth speed driven gear to be impregnated deepest in oil inside a rear cover 2 in time of car driving. If so, the lubricating oil goes up through a clearance between the driven gear 33 and the rear cover 2, colliding with a rib 67 or the like and dropping down, and is collected on an oil receiver 62 of an oil guide 60, then it flows in the rear and gathered inside an oil sump 69. And, the lubricating oil in the oil guide 60 flows into an oil passage 43 of an input shaft 8 from a lubricating port 68 at a bottom part, and in the point midway in this oil passage, it branches off from each of oil holes 44, 45 and 49, thereby forcedly lubricating neddle bearings 40-42 for each of shifting gears 25, 27 and 33. |
