<p>An interactive plural head laser disc system (10) characterized by use of plural pairs of head (H1-HN) installed on both sides of one or more laser discs (16) which heads may be accessed by either multi or single users to independently and or simultaneously access a single disc (16) or plurality of discs. The system (10) includes a disc housing (12) having a plurality of slots (14) therein for supporting a separate disc (16) in each slot (14) and also steps (112a-112c) and pads (102-104) for guiding the discs (16) into the slots (14) and for supporting the discs (16) when not mounted on the disc drive shaft (20). The shaft (20) is selectively engagable with the discs (16) by the shaft structure shown in Figures 6, 7 and 8.</p> |
