STRUCTURE FOR COMBINING AN UPPER PART OF A FENDER PANEL OF A VEHICLE FOR PROTECTING A PEDESTRIAN

PURPOSE: A structure for combining the upper part of a fender panel of a vehicle is provided to reduce the injury on a pedestrian and to successfully absorb the energy by combining both ends of arc-shaped shock absorbing members formed on vertical surface of a fender apron lower panel and the upper portion of a fender panel. CONSTITUTION: A fender apron member(1) formed by combining a fender apron upper panel(2) and a fender apron lower panel(2') in the box shape is installed in the upper portion of an engine room. A hood panel(3) is hinge-coupled to the rear portion of the fender apron upper panel. A fender panel(4) has an arc-shaped upper portion(5) and a vertical portion(6) in the face facing the hood panel. Plural shock absorbing members(10) are formed on the vertical surface of the fender apron lower panel and the vertical portion in the arc-shape and of which strength is lower than the fender panel. Both ends of the shock absorbing members are combined with each other.
