PURPOSE: A device for adjusting the height of a headrest of a vehicle is provided to successfully protect the head of an occupant, to firmly fix a stay, and to reduce the prime cost for manufacturing. CONSTITUTION: A device for adjusting the height of a headrest of a vehicle comprises guide brackets(3,3') fixed vertical to a frame(2) of a seat back(1), stay guides(4,4') inserted to the guide brackets, a headrest body(6) inserted to the stay guides to lift up and down by stays(7,7'), and a locking unit(20) consisting of a locking part(21) integrally formed on the stay guides and exposed to the upper portion of the seat back, and having a male thread on the outer circumference and a locking nut(22) thread-connected with the male thread.
