The device has two wing struts (1), each carrying a sail (6) held by a wishbone (5) at its ends (7) connected by a shaft unit (13) such that the sails are parallel. The unit turns the sails in slight angular movement relative to the struts and a direction of wind, to form a wing whose strut will be a leading edge without stalling the wind, and to generate an optimum depression force on the sails opposite to the wind.
