<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take reliable countermeasures against static electricity and dust for a display device in electronic equipment equipped with the display device exposed outward from the inside a housing. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic equipment is characterised by having the housing 3 which has an opening part 21b, a light-transmission plate 10 which is fixed covering the opening part 21b, the display device 8 which is fixed in the housing 3 so that its display surface 8a is exposed outward in the opening part 21b, a sheet metal member 13 which is arranged between at least the display device 8 and an internal surface 21a of the housing 3 and has a slit 31, and an elastically deformable buffer material 15 which is arranged between the sheet metal member 13 and the internal surface 21a of the housing 3, or the sheet metal member 13 and the display device 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
