PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable communication terminal, e.g. a folding portable telephone, in which receiving sensitivity is enhanced at the time of telephone conversation while simplifying the structure. SOLUTION: The portable communication terminal comprises a case 2 fixed with a speaker 5, a case 3 fixed with a microphone 6, a member 7 for coupling the cases 2 and 3 rotatably, and a transmitting/receiving antenna 4 fixed rotatably with respect to the cases 2 and 3. The antenna 4 is fixed to the coupling member 7 rotatably about the rotational axis. When the portable communication terminal is not used for telephone conversation, e.g. when it is carried, the cases 2 and 3 can be folded about the coupling member 7. When it is used for telephone conversation, the cases 2 and 3 can be used under developed state. Since the antenna 4 can rotate independently from the cases 2 and 3, orientation of the antenna 4 can be adjusted while sustaining such a state as the cases 2 and 3 are developed at an angle suitable for telephone conversation.
