PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video image receiver for automatically turning on power at a preset time and playing-back a recording medium on the basis of a preset condition at the time. SOLUTION: The video image receiver 20 provided with an on-timer function for automatically turning on power at a preset time is provided with an on-timer play-back setting means to set a power application time and a condition under which the recording medium is played-back at this time.
