PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security of secret information communication. SOLUTION: In a security apparatus 10, a matrix R as a solution of a Yang-Baxter equation R(λ)<SP>12</SP>R(μ)<SP>13</SP>R(ν)<SP>23</SP>=R(ν)<SP>23</SP>R(μ)<SP>13</SP>R(λ)<SP>12</SP>whereλ,μ,νare origins of commutative ring indicated by a bit sequence satisfyingλ=μ-νis calculated, a matrix T specified by this matrix R is sequentially allowed to act on shared information (a) and transmitted to a security apparatus 20. Also, in the security apparatus 20, a matrix R as a solution of a Yang-Baxter equation whereα,β,γare origins of commutative ring indicated by a bit sequence satisfyingα=β-γis calculated, a matrix T specified by this matrix R is successively allowed to act on shared information (a) and transmitted to the security apparatus 10.
