According to the invention, a manual transport of munitions on board a ship in confined spaces from a magazine to a weapon may be achieved securely, whereby a munitions container (1) has a strap (2) as support element, fixed to the munitions container (1) at one end thereof and the other end of which may be clipped into various clip positions (5, 9) on the munitions container for carrying with a usable free strap length. The strap forms a loop (16) in the transport position which permits a carrying on the back. In the rest position or storage position the strap has a position integrated in the container.
