<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic camera supporting device for efficiently acquiring information noticed on the object of a distance or the like of the object itself independently of a background and the other part of the other periphery. <P>SOLUTION: The stereoscopic camera supporting device is provided with a coupling member (159) constituted so as to support a stereoscopic camera (116) on a vehicle (300), and a control means (160) for controlling the attitude and position of the stereoscopic camera supported on the vehicle with the coupling member. In the stereoscopic camera supporting device, the control means controls the attitude and position of the stereoscopic camera, so that a contour part at the highest level position from among the contours of the notice object in a video concerning the video obtained with the stereoscopic camera is positioned on the upper end of the frame of the video and in the neighborhood thereof independently of change of the attitude and position of the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
