PURPOSE:To make it possible to continue operation without interrupting power generation and thus improve the reliability of a fuel cell in the case an abnormal condition occurs or inspection has to be made by separating only the fuel cell, where the abnormal condition has occurred or inspection has to be made, from the fuel cell route. CONSTITUTION:If the voltage of for example the fuel cell 1 increases abnor mally, a cell voltage error signal 11 is issued. Or, if the temperature, or concen tration of hydrogen or oxygen of cooling water of a fuel cell 1 increases abnor mally, a cell process error signal 15 is issued. When the signals 11, 15 are input ted via logical sums 20a and 21a to a switch 6CB, a contact point 6a is closed and contact points 6b1, 6b2 are opened. For other fuel cells 2, 3, and 4 too, switches 7cB, 8cB, and 9cB work similarly to the case of the fuel cell 1. Or, in the case inspection is required, or no abnormality occurs, or the inspection is over, the switches 6cB, 7cB, 8cB, and 9cB are made either exciting or non- exciting by manual operation. |
