DISH BASKET, AND DISH WASHING AND DRYING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a dish basket in which taking in and out of tableware can be smoothly performed and a dish washing and drying machine . SOLUTION: The dish basket 4, on which the dishes are mounted, is held in a washing tub 3 within a casing 1. An opening and shutting door 2 turnably coupled around a shaft is formed in the casing 1. The opening and shutting door 2 is folded so as to be located in one of the right and left fronts of the casing 1 for taking in and out of the dishes. The dish basket 4 is equipped with a main basket section 29 provided in such a way capable of being drawn out ahead of the casing 1 and an auxiliary basket section 30 which is provided in at least one side part of the main basket section 29 and in which plates can be mounted parallel with each other to the right and left directions of the casing 1. The auxiliary basket section 30 can slide along drawing direction on the main basket section 29 so that the mounted plates is prevented from interfering with the opened door 2 when the dish basket 4 is drawn out from the casing.
